My Story

For years, I did what I thought I was supposed to do.

I was in my early 30s—a husband, father of three, math teacher, and coach. Like so many people, life was full. I still made time to exercise, often squeezing in an hour-long workout because I believed that if I worked hard enough, I could “work off” a lifestyle that was good enough.

But despite all that effort, my body was telling a different story.

The headaches became more frequent. My jeans kept getting bigger. I was getting winded tying my shoes. I didn’t like taking my shirt off. I felt soft, tired, hungry all the time, and frustrated that the work I was putting in wasn’t showing up in the mirror.

What worried me most was that many of those same patterns had shown up in family members before they were diagnosed with chronic disease.

I knew something had to change.

Then I picked up The Primal Blueprint by Mark Sisson.

That book completely changed the way I thought about health.

Instead of trying to overpower my body with more exercise and willpower, I learned how to work with it. I began eating differently, moving differently, and living differently. The weight came off. The headaches disappeared. My energy returned. My body became leaner, stronger, and healthier than it had been in years – and, more importantly, it stayed that way.

Today, my mission is simple:

To help hardworking people stop wasting effort and build a body they’re proud to live in using simple, natural, time-tested human principles.

Because I don’t believe your body should be something you spend your life fighting.

I believe it should be one of the greatest assets you have.
